Dr Sankalpa studied medicine at the University of Newcastle in NSW. She became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019 and is currently in the process of completing the Sydney Child Health Program.

Working as a GP in Darwin for over 3 years.

Special interests include: Chronic medical conditions, Women and Child Health, Antenatal Care, Veterans' health, Skin conditions, Management of iron deficiency.

Closing the Gap

Closing the Gap is a program that provides easy access to health services for Aboriginals and Torres Islanders. ASTI health checks are available every 9 months. Patients over 15, Pension Card holders and Health Care Card holders are eligible to receive extra allied Health Service referrals and PBS prescriptions at a discounted price or for free each year.

Moil Medical Centre is a teaching facility for registrars, junior doctors and medical students in conjunction with NTGPE, Flinders University, University of Adelaide and the NT Clinical School. Please inform us if you do not wish to be involved in a training process.
